Sweet & Sour Green Beans make one of the best side dishes ever. Submitted by Janet Luttman.
Ingredients
3 Cans Cut Green Beans- Drained
1 medium onion -diced
8 strips of bacon-fried
½ C sliced almonds
6 TBS sugar
6 TBS cider vinegar

Preparation
Drain beans and place in 9x 13 glass dish.
Fry bacon-set aside - keep grease
Brown onion in bacon drippings
Sprinkle onion and almonds and crumble bacon over beans
Add sugar and vinegar to drippings-heat until sugar dissolves.
Pour over beans. Marinate overnight
Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees
