You Got This!
Why spend more time in the kitchen when you really don’t have to? With just 6 simple ingredients, this Crockpot Cube Steak with Mushroom Gravy is a fast and easy dinner recipe for the family.
Ingredients
1 package cube steaks (4-6 steaks)
2-4 tablespoons vegetable oil
½ All-purpose flour
2 cans (10.75 oz. each) cream of mushroom soup
¾ cup water
1 packet dry onion soup mix (French Onion soup)
garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation
Spray the inside of your crockpot.
In medium-sized mixing bowl add mushroom soup, water, and contents of onion soup mix. Stir to combine. Place half of the mixture in the crockpot.
In large skillet heat oil on medium-low heat.
Place flour in mixing bowl and add salt and pepper. Mix to combine. Place flour on a large plate and dredge cube steaks in flour to season steaks.
One at a time, place cube steak in oil for about 1-2 minutes per side until lightly brown. Don’t cook through.
Place cube steaks in the bottom of a slow cooker, on top of mushroom soup mixture.
Pour remaining soup on top of steaks.
Turn crockpot on low and let cook for 4-6 hours.
The longer the cubed steaks are in the crock pot, the more tender they will become. They are so tender, they fall apart easily. Don’t worry if this happens, just serve the steak pieces with the gravy as you would if they remained whole.
Add vegetables, onions and or cream cheese to preference.
